Dropping

This can't be a surprise to anyone, but I just want to make it official.

I'm dropping all my muses.

To those of you I used to have plot with, I'm really sorry. I guess that's all of you since Ryo especially is up there in the main plot. Until/unless someone picks him up, feel free to either move around him or use him as an NPC for a while, if it helps get the plot further along. (I'm not saying that as Ryo's old mun, but as a mod ^^)

As for reasons, I'm sure you all know. I hardly pay attention to JE any more and my muses have mostly gone dormant. Also, I just don't have the kind of inspiration or devotion any more to keep to a game that's so heavy on plot. Don't get me wrong, I love this place, it's my baby, but I just can't do it any longer.

I'll still be around as a kind of silent mod, and one of these days I'll actually find the time and concentration to update the claims list and accept some apps ^^; but you won't see me playing here any more.

[January 17, morning] Yamaguchi safe house

When Ryo woke up that morning, he felt surprisingly refreshed. With his eyes still closed and his body not moving, he could almost forget the horror of the last week or so. Then, however, he sensed the presence of someone else in the room, someone else who wasn't Tomohisa, and his eyes snapped open, his hand automatically grabbing under his pillow for the gun that wasn't there. Fuck! He nearly cried out when his burnt and bandaged back hit the sheets and he rolled back onto his side immediately, panting in pain.

"...You." He couldn't quite hide the relief when he realised Uchi was standing at the edge of his bed, looking down on him, probably just checking on how they were doing. He felt rather stupid when he realised that if it hadn't been Uchi, if it had been an enemy, he'd already be dead. The guy could have been here for minutes already.

"Thank you."

Ryo didn't think he'd need to explain his words.

[January 16th] Yamaguchi safe house

He had been here for a few days. Ryo knew that much, but not much else. He didn't know where he was, exactly, though it seemed safe to assume it was on Yamaguchi ground somewhere. He knew a doctor had been tending to his wounds and a nurse had made sure he was comfortable... well, relatively so, anyway.

And he knew he was sharing a room with Tomohisa.

He didn't remember much of the last few days, weeks, however long it had been. When he slept, nightmares haunted him but when he woke up, it was only with the lingering scent of burnt flesh or days old sex in his nostrils. Even when he closed his eyes and concentrated, he could hardly remember anything other than pain and stench. Pain, stench and Uchi. Somehow, the only thing he remembered vividly was waking up in Uchi's lap and feeling safe there. It was rather disconcerting.

What worried him, was that he hadn't even realised Tomohisa was there, hadn't even wondered if he was there, until about a day ago, when the high fever had left him and he found himself able to think once more. His only concerns in the days before, whenever he was lucid enough to have any, were about himself and his family. Maybe it was just basic survival instinct, but that didn't mean it didn't make him feel vaguely guilty. He should have asked the other how he was doing days ago (even if days ago, he couldn't even speak properly). Well, better late than never?

Ryo turned his head, looking at the blanket covered lump he knew to be the Miyamoto leader. "Are you awake?"

Dropping another muse

After dropping a few muses before (listing them again because I kind of accidentally deleted my other post about this), I'm dropping one other.

And now, I'm adding Asou Haruto to the list. He doesn't have any real plot, only knows one person in the game and I've hardly been playing him at all. I've been wanting to play with him some more and I've even talked to people about it, but I can't seem to really grasp his personality, so... another Ryo-clone goes byebye. Sorry, Asou-sensei.
