Akira SHOCK! Forum Rules

Here you will find the general rules for participaing in the forums. Please read these rules before posting in any of the Akira SHOCK! Forums. In addition, some individual subforums (e.g multimedia) on this forum also have their own rules specific to that subforum, which should also be read before posting.

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!

1. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL

★ No multiple usernames; this means one person per username.
★ Always display a positive, friendly attitude.
★ Please make sure that you are posting for the good of the forum, not just for the sake of self-promotion. Our purpose is to share, help and make new friends.
★ No porn or vulgarities (using *** to replace is fine)
★ Be respectful to others. Allow your fellow forumers to voice their opinions without censorship. DO NOT deliberately start arguments. If anything does happen, click the "report" button at the bottom of the post and the admins/mods will deal with the problem.
★ Be respectful towards admins/mods/staff.

2. DO NOT SPAM

★ Fangirling is different from spamming. Spam is when you post continuously with like 5 words each post, each and every post is meaningless like "That's cool, thannnnnnnnnnnnk you so so so so much!". If you could only think of saying "thanks", PLEASE MAKE USE OF THE THANK YOU BUTTON. Fangirling is screaming your heads off but try to stay calm (if you can! We know it's hard XD).
★ When posting comments, please try not to go off topic and refrain from 2 people conversations - try to save that for MSN/Yahoo/aim.
★ Please try to type properly. The forum is not like your instant messaging program. This rule forbids things such as l33t and sTiCkY cApS. We discourage warped-abbreviations like "pplz" + "2morrowz", EXTENSIVE CAPSLOCK and excessive "................" after each sentence you type. The reason for this is so that your post is actually readable by fellow members - we're not here to decode your messages. Please sympathize those who are not fluent in English and don't put them through a hard time by typing like that.
★ When starting a thread, please make your topic title descriptive and specific because this will save people time and the trouble of clicking things that they aren't interested in. Do not start a thread with a title: "I want to ask a question". Instead, a better title would be: "When will XXXX's single be officially released?"
★ In case you need to reply to a thread before you can see the content, you can just post a simple thank you and say that you would edit your post after watching the content of the thread. But please make an attempt to edit your post to include what you think of the video/pictures.

3. GIVE CREDITS

★ Do give the appropriate credits when you are posting some news/pics/clips if those stuff do not belong to you. If you don't it's called stealing.

4. DO NOT MAKE MULTIPLE POSTS

★ DO NOT post the same topic in multiple threads. If you are unsure which forum to post your message in, just state that in your post, and a moderator will move the topic to the correct forum.
★ Before you start a thread (especially discussion threads), you should make sure that a similar thread has not been started already. So please do a search first. If your new topic is similar/same as an existing topic, it will be closed, merged or deleted.

5. DO NOT TYPE IN TOO MANY LANGUAGES

★ The official language for the forum is English, but we allow replies in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Japanese. Any languages other than those languages mentioned above are not allowed to be used in the forum. Sorry!

6. FOLLOW THE BANNER AND AVATAR RULES

★ The mods/admins will PM you if you do not follow the rules, and if you do not change ur banner/avatar after the PM warning, the mods/admins would delete your banner/avatar.
★ Maximum dimension for Avatar is 100x150 pixels. Here's a sample:
★ Signature banners should be 500x200 pixels maximum, meaning maximum of 200 pixels high and 500 pixels wide. Here's a sample:

Please don't add banners until the entire page is filled with just your signature. It takes up too much viewing space and it will cause lagging. Try to keep your WHOLE signature - including banners, text, blinkies etc. - within 500x250 pixels (recommended but not compulsory, yet).

★ Please be considerate. Some people's internet do not work as fast. It may cause lagging if images are too huge.
★ Upload your banners into any photo hosting website. (The admin/mod team get special privileges ;D)

7. FOLLOW THE OTHER RULES IN THE VARIOUS THREADS

★ Certain subforums will have their own rules, please follow them too.
